In this role, the candidate will assist the Merchandising Department. This position is on-site at our Corporate Office in Smithton PA.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist/review receiving schedule with vendor-freight-programmed flow maintained.
• Monitor IST showroom flow, and finalize.
• Understand IFR-stocking programs/re-orders
• Store and category (product) analysis.
• New store: assemble P.O. folders, print labels, have prepared for store installations.
• Review accessory policy and procedure at the store to understand the entire process.
• Work with inventory control and accounts receivable to ensure damages/credits/inventory are handled.
• Assist with store construction projects.
• Act as liaison with Levin sub-contractors, materials, order process, and flow.
• Assists with vendor meetings and travel arrangements.
• Communication with store and warehouse personnel regarding Merchandising objectives.
• Assist with tagging and signage at showrooms.
• Process and monitor orders.
• Rug Vendor duties as assigned.
• Other related tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication, and listening skills.

• Basic reading and comprehension skills.
• Knowledge of flatbed scanners, multimedia presentation equipment and digital cameras.
• Experienced in Microsoft office products.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to sit, and reach at shoulder height regularly.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers using telephone.
• Ability to use vision to read documents and computer screen.
• Ability to use hands to type information into computer.
